How to Reset Time For Service Message on 1999-2012 Saab 9-3 After Oil Change:
2007-2012
- Turn the ignition key to the ON position with the engine off
- Select the “Settings” menu using the INFO button and hold the SET button until it beeps
- Select “Time for Service” using the INFO button and hold the SET button until it beeps
- Select “Yes” using the INFO button (cars with diesel engine: hold the brake pedal depressed)
- Reset the service indicator by pressing the SET button once
- Turn the ignition to OFF position and back on to confirm reset
2003-2006
- Turn the ignition key to the ON position with the engine off
- Press the CUSTOMIZE button on the control panel
- Select the “System Settings” menu, then “Service Info”
- Then select Reset Service Ind”
- Select “Yes” then press the INFO knob (SET) to reset the message
1999-2002
- Turn the ignition key to the ON position with the engine off
- Press the CLEAR button to confirm the service due message
- Hold down the CLEAR button for 8 seconds (the display will show “Clear” for the first 4 seconds and “Service” for the last 4 seconds)
- Turn the ignition to OFF position and back on to confirm reset
