How to Reset Time For Service Light on 1999-2011 Saab 9-5 After Oil Change:
2010-2011
- Display the “Oil-Life Reset” message on the DIC
- Press and hold the ENTER or INFO button until you see “Acknowledged” displayed
- Turn the key to the OFF position and back on to confirm reset successful
1999-2009
- Turn the ignition key to the ON position with the engine off
- Press the CLEAR button to confirm the service due message
- Hold down the CLEAR button for 8 seconds (the display will show “Clear” for the first 4 seconds and “Service” for the last 4 seconds)
- Turn the ignition to OFF position and back on to confirm reset
