Reset Service B on Mercedes CL Class:
2007-2014
- Close all doors hood and trunk lid and turn the ignition to position I (ACC)
- Use the UP and/or DOWN buttons to scroll through the information center to display the mileage/kilometer counter
- Press the FORWARD and/or BACK buttons repeatedly until the menu item Trip with highlighter is shown
- Press and hold the accept/end PHONE button within 5 seconds of showing the Trip screen and within 1 second also press and hold the OK button
- Hold both buttons for about 5 seconds until the Workshop menu is displayed
- Use the UP and/or DOWN buttons to highlight Assyst Plus and press OK
- Use the UP and/or DOWN buttons to highlight Full Service or Due Services and press OK
- Use the UP and/or DOWN buttons to highlight Confirm Serv or Complete Service and press OK
*NOTE: Some models will not have steps 9-11 in which case skip to step 12 - Use the UP and/or DOWN buttons to select the specification of oil used for service and then press OK
- Use the UP and/or DOWN buttons to highlight Yes and press OK
- Use the UP and/or DOWN buttons to highlight Confirmation and press OK
- Once Full Service Carried Out appears in the display press OK and then BACK button repeatedly to return to standard screen
2000-2006
- Close all doors, hood, and trunk lid and turn the ignition to position II (ON)
- Press the main menu PAGE buttons repeatedly to display the main trip/temp menu
- Press the UP and/or DOWN arrows to scroll through the sub-menus to display the FSS (Flexible Service System) menu
- To enter reset mode, press and hold the TRIP or DIMMER button (located on the left side of the instrument cluster) until the message “Do You Want To Reset Service Interval?” “Confirm reset Using Reset Button” or “Service Interval To Reset: Press Reset Button for 3 Sec.” is shown in the display, then release the button
- Press and hold the TRIP or DIMMER button again until “Service Interval Has Been Reset” is shown in the display and then release the button
- The display will show the FSS sub-menu with a new mileage interval, then turn the ignition to position 0 (OFF)
1998-1999
- Close all doors, hood, and trunk lid and turn the ignition to position II (ON)
- Within 4 seconds of turning key on, press the “0” button (located on instrument cluster) twice quickly
- Within 10 seconds, turn the key to position 0 (OFF)
- Press and hold the “0” button and turn the ignition back to position II (ON)
- Continue to hold the button for 10 seconds or when you hear a signal sound and see the new service interval
- Release the button and switch the ignition to position 0 (OFF)
