How To Reset Oil Life on Mercury Grand Marquis:
2011
- Press and release the SELECT/RESET button to scroll through the menus until “Hold Reset For Setup Menu” appears
- Press and hold the SELECT/RESET button for 2 seconds or until the “Oil Life XXX% Hold Reset = New” message appears and then release
- Press and hold the SELECT/RESET button for 2 seconds again or until “Oil Life Set To 100%” appears
- Release the button and the oil life is now reset
2006-2010
- Press the SETUP button until the display reads “Press Select To Begin System Check”
- Press the SELECT button to display “Oil Life – Press Reset If New Oil”
- Press and hold the RESET button until “Oil Life Start Value Set To 100%” is displayed
- The oil life is now set to 100%
