How to Reset Oil Change Service Message on 2005-2009 Saab 9-7x After Oil Change:

2005-2009

1. Turn the ignition key to the ON position with the engine off
2. Use the FUEL button to reach the “Engine Oil Life” screen
3. Press and hold the SELECT button for 5 seconds while “Engine Oil Life” is displayed
4. “Oil Life Reset” will appear on the DIC display for 10 seconds to let you know the system is reset

OR

1. Turn the ignition key to the ON position with the engine off
2. Fully press and release the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds
3. The “Change Oil Light” will blink for 5 seconds
4. After that, turn the ignition to OFF position and back on to confirm reset
