How to Reset Ford Taurus Oil Life Percentage:

2010-2015

1. Press and release the SETUP button to display “Oil Life XXX% Hold Reset = New”
2. Press and hold the RESET button for 2 seconds and release to reset oil life to 100%

OR

1. Turn the vehicle in the ON position
2. Press and release the TRIP/RESET button until “Setup Menu hold Reset” is displayed
3. Press and hold the TRIP/RESET button until “System Check” is displayed
4. Press and release the TRIP/RESET button to scroll through the menu items until “Hold Reset If New Oil” is displayed
5. Press and hold the TRIP/RESET button until “Oil Life Set To 100%” is displayed
6. Release the button and the oil life is now reset

2008-2009

1. Press and release the SETUP button until “System Check” is displayed
2. Press and release the SETUP button again to display “Oil Life = XXX% Hold Reset = New”
3. Press and hold the RESET button for 2 seconds and release to reset the oil life to 100%
