How To Reset Acura TL Maint Req’d Light for years 2004 through 2014:

2013-2014

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position
2. Select -Customize Settings- in the display using the arrow buttons located on the steering wheel then press the SEL/RESET button
3. Select -Maintenance Info- using the arrow buttons then press the SEL/RESET button
4. Select -Reset- using the arrow buttons, then press the SEL/RESET button
5. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear and the engine oil life will reset to 100 percent

2009-2014

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position
2. If the engine oil life is not displayed press the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel repeatedly until it is
3. Press and hold the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel for more than 10 seconds
4. The remaining engine oil life reset mode will be shown on the multi-information display
5. Select Reset by pressing the INFO (up and down arrow icons) button then press the SEL/RESET button to reset the engine oil life display
6. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear and the engine oil life will reset to 100

2007-2008

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position
2. Press the INFO (up and down arrow icons) button until the engine oil life is displayed
3. Press and hold the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel for more than 10 seconds
4. The display will ask for confirmation. Press the SEL/RESET button to select “OK”

2004-2006

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position
2. Press and hold the SELECT/RESET button for 10 seconds or until you see the maintenance message or “Maintenance Reset”
3. Release, then press and hold the SELECT/RESET button again for another 10 seconds or until you see “Maintenance Reset”
4. To reset the display, press the SELECT/RESET button to select “OK”
5. The next time the ignition switch is turned on it will display “OIL LIFE100%”
