How To Reset Acura MDX Maint Req’d Light for years 2001 through 2015:

2014-2015

1. Set power mode to ON
2. Go to the maintenance information group
3. Push the right selector wheel on steering wheel. The oil life reset mode is displayed on the multi-information display
4. Select “Reset” with the right selector wheel, then push the right selector wheel to confirm
5. The displayed maintenance items disappear and the engine oil life display returns to “100%”

2013

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position
2. Select -Customize Settings- in the display using the arrow buttons located on the steering wheel then press the SEL/RESET button
3. Select -Maintenance Info- using the arrow buttons then press the SEL/RESET button
4. Select -Reset- using the arrow buttons, then press the SEL/RESET button
5. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear and the engine oil life will reset to 100 percent

2013

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position
2. Select -Customize Settings- in the display using the arrow buttons located on the steering wheel then press the SEL/RESET button
3. Select -Maintenance Info- using the arrow buttons then press the SEL/RESET button
4. Select -Reset- using the arrow buttons, then press the SEL/RESET button
5. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear and the engine oil life will reset to 100 percent

2007-2013

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position
2. If the engine oil life is not displayed press the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel repeatedly until it is
3. Press and hold the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel for more than 10 seconds
4. The remaining engine oil life reset mode will be shown on the multi-information display
5. Select Reset by pressing the INFO (up and down arrow icons) button then press the SEL/RESET button to reset the engine oil life display
6. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear and the engine oil life will reset to 100

2001-2006

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF (0) position
2. Press and hold the Select/Reset button(s) in the instrument panel, then turn the ignition switch to ON (II) position
3. Hold the button(s) for 10 seconds or until the indicator resets
