How to Reset Change Oil Light on Corvette After Service

Reset Change Oil Light on Corvette Procedures:

1997-2015

1. Display the “Oil Life Remaining” message in the Driver Information Center
2. Press and hold the SET/RESET button on the Driver Information Center for more than 5 seconds (on vehicles without DIC, use the TRIP reset stem for SET/RESET)
3. The oil life will change to “100%”

1990-1996

1. Turn ignition switch to ON position with engine off
2. Press the ENG/MET button on the trip monitor and release, then press and release again within 5 seconds
3. Within 5 seconds of that, press and hold the GAUGES or RANGE button on the trip monitor
4. The “Change Oil” light will begin to flash
5. Continue to hold the GAUGES button until the “Change Oil” light stops flashing and goes out (about 10 seconds)
6. Turn the key to the OFF position and back on to confirm reset successful
