Honda Ridgeline Oil Change Steps to Reset Maint Reqd Light:
2007-2014
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position
- If the engine oil life is not displayed press the SELECT button on the steering wheel repeatedly until it is
- Press the TRIP/RESET button for about 10 seconds or until you see the maintenance item code(s) blink
- Press the TRIP/RESET button again for another 5 seconds
- The maintenance item code(s) will disappear and the engine oil life will reset to “100”
2009-2014
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position
- If the engine oil life is not displayed press the SEL/RESET button on the dash board repeatedly until it is
- The display will ask for confirmation. Press the SEL/RESET button to select “OK”
- The maintenance item code(s) will disappear and the engine oil life will reset to “100”
2006
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position
- If the engine oil life is not displayed press the SELECT button on the steering wheel repeatedly until it is
- Press the RESET button for about 10 seconds or until you see the “Maint Reset” message
- Use the SELECT button to display a “Y” and then press and hold the RESET button until the engine oil life is reset to “100%”
