Ford Fusion Hybrid Reset Oil Light Procedure for Model Years 2011-2015

Ford Fusion Hybrid Reset Oil Light Procedure:

2014-2015

1. Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine
   *For vehicles with push-button start, press and hold the START button for 2 seconds without pressing the brake pedal to put in ON mode
2. Simultaneously press the accelerator and brake pedals and hold them in the fully pressed position
3. After 3 seconds, the message center displays “Service: Oil Reset In Prog”
4. Continue to hold both the accelerator and brake pedals for 25 seconds or until the display shows “Service: Oil Reset Complete”
5. Release both pedals and place ignition in the OFF position/mode

2011-2012

1. Press the SETUP button until the “Vehicle Settings” menu is displayed in the LH viewing pane
2. Press and release the RESET button to select “Oil Life”
3. Press and release the SETUP button to highlight “Set To 100%”
4. Press and release the RESET button to select “Set to 100%”
5. Turn the vehicle to the OFF position, then start the vehicle to verify oil change reminder is no longer displayed and/or the light is no longer illuminated
