Ford Five Hundred (500) Oil Life Reset To New After an Oil Change

Ford Five Hundred (500) Oil Life Reset Procedures:

2006-2007

1. Press and release the ODO/TRIP button to toggle between menus to display “Oil Life XXX%”
2. Press and hold the ODO/TRIP button for 2 seconds or until the display shows “Oil Life 100%”

OR

1. Press and release the SETUP button until “Oil Life XXX% Reset If New” is displayed
2. Press and release the RESET button until “If New Oil Hold Reset” is displayed
3. Press and hold the RESET button until “Oil Life Set To 100%” is displayed

2005

1. Press the SETUP button repeatedly until “Press Reset At Oil Change” message is displayed
2. Press and release the RESET button to display “Hold Reset To Confirm”
3. Press and hold the RESET button to see “Oil Life Set To 100%”
