How To Reset Honda Civic Maint Req’d Light in Seconds!

How To Reset Honda Civic Maint Req’d Light for years 1990 through 2015:

2012-2015:

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position
2. Select “Maintenance Info” using the arrow buttons, then press the SOURCE button
3. Select “Yes” using the +/- buttons, then press SOURCE button
4. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear and the engine oil life will reset to “100”

 

 
2006-2015:

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position
2. If the engine oil life is not displayed press the SEL/RESET knob in the instrument panel repeatedly until it is
3. Press and hold the SEL/RESET knob in the instrument panel for about 10 seconds or until the maintenance item code(s) begin to blink
4. Release, then press and hold the SEL/RESET knob for another 5 seconds
5. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear and the engine oil life will reset to “100”

 

 
1991-2005:

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF (0) position
2. Press and hold the Select/Reset button(s) in the instrument panel, then turn the ignition switch to ON (II) position
3. Hold the button(s) for 10 seconds or until the indicator resets

1990-2005:

1. Insert ignition key into appropriate slot on the instrument panel, below indicator flag
2. Flag should turn green
