How the Chevy Traverse Oil Life Reset Procedure is Performed After Oil Change

Chevy Traverse Oil Life Reset Procedures:

2009-2015

1. Turn ignition switch to ON position with engine off
2. Press TRIP RESET stem until “Oil Life Remaining” message is displayed
3. Press and hold the TRIP RESET stem until “Oil Life Remaining” shows “100%”
4. You will hear 3 chimes and the “Change Engine Oil Soon” message will go off
5. Turn the key to the OFF position and back on to confirm reset successful

OR

1. Turn ignition switch to ON position with engine off
2. Press the MODE button until the DIC reads “Oil Life Left/Hold Set To Reset”
3. Press and hold the SET button until the display reads “100 percent”
4. You will hear 3 chimes and the “Change Engine Oil Soon” message will go off
5. Turn the key to the OFF position and back on to confirm reset successful
